Social Worker

Christy is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is telehealth and trauma certified with a history working with a wide range of clients from all walks of life. Christy earned her degree from New Mexico Highlands University and has a background education in English and Intercultural Communications. Professionally, Christy has completed training in several of the latest and most advanced therapy topics including polyvagal theory and somatic trauma healing.

Christy is committed to offering guidance and support to people facing difficult transitions and times of crisis. She practices a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach, helping clients to develop a strong inner voice and encouraging them to develop their personal strengths. She has a history of working with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship and communication issues, divorce, and stress.

Christy focuses on cognitive-behavioral and body-based practices that help alleviate feelings of tension, stress, and dysregulation to help clients find mental, emotional, and physical balance and wellbeing. Christy is experienced and comfortable working with children and adolescents, as well as adults, couples, families, and parents.
